XIVONO XA VUTOMI (A vision of life) which refers to education because education is a great engine of personeal development. It is through education that a daughter from poor backgroun family can become a nurse, teacher etc. This short story describes about two daughters, Hlaluko (A daughter from a wealthy background family) and Xivono (A daughter from a poor background family) who are both studying nursing course at the University. Hlaluko left the University and start going up and down with her boyfriends misusing her parents’ money because when she wants to go somewhere with some of her boyfriends, she phone her parents asking money for studying activities meanwhile she wants to fill petrol to one of her boyfriend’s car and go anywhere they like, drinking alcohol, smoking drugs etc. Her parents believe that she is busy studying at the University meanwhile she is busy enjoying with her boyfriends. But Xivono studied hard at the University until she complete her degree and become a sister at the hospital. But later Hlaluko infected with HIV/AIDS where she was admitted to the hospital where Xivono was a sister there. Doctors and nurses tried by all means to rescue Hlaluko’s life but she died. Therefore education is a vision of life. Please note that Mini-Examination and its answers are provided at the end of the Book as a sample of final examination in the literature section so that the students will know exactly what they’ll be expected to do in the Final Examination.
