The second book in the Exploring Coding & Robotics series includes representing binary and hexadecimal numbers, RGB colours, arithmetic calculations and logical operations. A continuation of networks theory and cloud storage. Word styles, templates, Excel cell referencing, conditions and charts. HTML introduces basic tags, tables, lists and links using CSS styles. Scratch includes revision, trace tables, and the concepts of nested if statements, repeat loops, drawing shapes and nested loops. Code is optimised using My Blocks with parameters. Robotics continues with the Micro:bit and includes potentiometers, RGB LEDS and PIR motion sensors. Breadboards are used for complex circuits, and additional batteries are added for powerful circuits.
