My Mathematics is a fully curriculum based unique book, each chapter of which has the following features: rn Previous Knowledge enables the learner to understand what they already know before reading the chapter. rn Terms, Formulae and Symbols Important Terms, Formulae and Symbols are given to enhance the learners knowledge about the chapter. rn Concepts, along with appropriate examples are presented in a synchronized and logical manner so that the learners can grasp the content easily. Examples for each concepts are further divided into three categories: rn Concept Based (Direct concept based examples) rn Skill Based (To co-relate the concept with real-life). rn HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills based examples) rn Short-cuts are given whereever it is required to reduce arithmetic calculations. rn Key Points Conceptwise brief summary is given in the form of key points. rn Practice Here Ample practice sets, categorized under concept based, skill based and HOTS are given for each concept in order to assess the knowledge and perception of the learner. rn Assessment Chapterwise Assessment is a test paper to check how much content the learner is able to grasp. rn Tests are designed to ensure that learners are giving their 100% to Mathematics. rn Assignments are a collection of previously asked questions covering the full term(s). rn Investigations have been designed to develop creative and critical thinking in the learner. rn Project Through projects, learners will demonstrate their understanding of different concepts of mathematics and apply them in real-life situations. rn Examination Two sample papers are given for mid-year and final examinations.
