Description
1990, the start of the school year: Tshidiso is not going back to her township school. Instead, she’s going to a convent in the city, recently open to all races. Thrown into a new world of fancy cars, expensive clothes and ‘proper’ accents, Tshidiso wrestles with tough choices – how to stay true to herself, who to be friends with? and ultimately how to deal with a racial insult on the netball court that almost tears the school apart. Courageous and independent, Tshidiso will appeal to all who question the world and their place in it.
